Maxine Latham, an artist specialising in trompe l'oeil
and murals, had recently moved into the city, and asked us to design
a marketing campaign that would raise awareness of her work.
eventframework wrote and implemented a strategy for Maxine Latham
that targeted both private and commercial sectors, leading to
new commissions
and a strong foundation of recognition. eventframework secured media
coverage for a variety of Maxine's projects, for example a street
mural in Easton,
commissioned by the Urban Renewal Team, and a mural in a florist's shop
in Easton.
Trompe L'oeil, which actually means 'trick of the eye', creates illusions
that transform any room and can be particularly suited to children's
nurseries. One of Maxine's clients chose a simple shelf mural, complete
with soft
toys, and a small stained glass window, including the White Rabbit
from 'Alice in Wonderland.'
